Austin Martin

My name is Austin Martin and I am 27 years old. I grew up playing basketball in Custer, MI. When I was a kid I would roll up the hoop next to my trampoline and throw down double eastbays, windmills, and backflip dunks before even knowing professional dunking was a thing. I eventually got my first legitimate dunk on 10ft at 16.5 years old and my passion for dunking really started to grow! I started to focus on dunking more than basketball, but I still had a dream to play in college. However, I didn’t follow that dream after high school and I started to feel deep regret like something was missing from my life — that I had wasted my potential. Several years passed and in 2020 I came across Chris Staples YouTube channel as well as Isaiah Rivera’s who both inspired me to revamp my childhood basketball dreams in a way that I never imagined. I am now pursing professional dunking and want to show people that it is never too late to pursue your dream!!
